U.N. "Observation" Post Hit
Friday, a United Nations observation post was hit by a Hezbollah fired rocket which fell short of Israeli targets. But, 'of course', an U.N. officer said the facility was hit by artillery from the IDF, not Hizbollah.
Every fight has to have a referee... Right? Even Tiger Woods shanks one into the gallery from time to time!
Thankfully, nobody was hurt and the spectators were able to locate the ball... I mean bomb.
Apparently, the post is part of the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon called UNICEF...sorry my bad..UNIFIL.
It's mission is to patrol the border line known as the "blue line", drawn up by the U.N. after Israel withdrew it's troops from Lebanon in 2000.
The force is made up of 1,990 troops from, 'get this', China, France, Ghana, Ireland, India, Italy, Poland and Ukraine.
Don't expect high marks for Israel from this bunch after this performance.
Sorry, It's hard to take the U.N. serious.

You know it really is hard to take the UN serious. They are corrupt, the peacekeepers rape defenseless women in the countries where they are supposed to be protecting the people, they issue worthless resolutions and refuse to back them up, they are anti-semitic, they don't help people in dire straits like Rwanda and Darfur (which are the exact type of situations they should be perfect for) and they endorse countries that don't offer basic human rights to their own people. They are completely worthless and and a hindrance not a help. Why the U.S. gives them one dime of our money is beyond me.
I think I'm going to do a post on this in the near future. Talking about the UN really gets me fired up :-).

Don't forget, The U.N. has blamed Limbaugh and Fox News for their troubles here in the States!

The really troublesome thing about the U.N. is that it constantly violates its own charter and principles. As Bob Dylan once said, "they've got gansters in power and lawbreakers making the rules.

Things will really get "harry" when the U.N. decided to get envolved in making a peaceful resolution. Which means, of course Israel surrenders.
