Have A Merry Christmas Everybody!

I truly hope and pray that everyone who comes in contact with my blog will have the best Christmas ever this year.

Here are just a few things to remember on Christmas day;

When opening the presents, it's the thought that counts. Try to be a little more tolerant when visiting the inlaws, stay awhile, don't leave too early, that will look too obvious. Save the bows. Sing a few Christmas songs. Watch "It's A wonderful Life" on TV. Buy plenty of batteries for the toys. And finally, be sure to remember those who have lost loved ones this year. And those who are away from home fighting for freedom in foreign lands.

Did I leave anything out?

Sweet thoughts, Ron! Many people are so ungrateful. No matter how much I didn't need a present I can honestly say I've never returned one, because I do believe it's the thought that counts.

Also, I absolutely love "It's a Wonderful Life". Believe it or not, I watch it every year right after Thanksgiving. I also met James Stewart in person when I was fourteen and made an absolute fool out of myself. I shook hands with him on the back porch of the Brass Rail in Virginia City, Nevada, and commented, "Your mother seems so nice." He answered, "She's not my mother, she's my wife." Oooops! She really looked like his mother.

Thank you for visiting my place, and come back tomorrow for a post that will truly touch your heart. I know it will!

Blessings, and Merry Christmas to you and yours. God bless!

Merry Christmas right back at ya!! The advice for in-laws is easier said than done :-). Although after all the trauma my in-laws have caused my family I'm pretty nice and tolerant.

Gayle,

Great story!! Thanks for sharing that!
I watched the movie with a friend last night. It was her first time to see it. She loved it, of course.

Carole,

Thanks!
Ya'll be careful.
I would like to see Shane again.

Dee,

Thanks!

I understand. We have our share of family problems, but we seem to manage well enough.
